Hi Ando,
Ok so I cheat in some ways, but I've put both methods below.
Firstly you have to understand the relationships between the templates contained within the mods. So here is how they reflect, it's also worth noting that the scale between the templates are different, so if you copy it over to the other template you'll have to adjust the size.
Relationship:
RTA doubles Step 1
Now you know which box you are doing you then just paint them in whatever program you like and save them whatever name you like (at this stage) - you could be "ando's small box 1" for example.
Then you need to save them as .dds file types to put them into the game (like any other skin). You need to name them correctly;
If you open part one of the trailer files and navigate to:
vehicle/trailer/company
you get to the default skin locations. These are the base game skins;
RTA doubles Step 3
What you do is save them as the dds name of the company you want to replace in game (remember to keep them both in the same company ;) )
You'll save each template as either "t_[ in game company name]" <- for the large box "d_[ in game company name]" <- for the small box (refer back to the first picture)
RTA doubles Step 2
for the Elliotts one's I did I saved them over the Bushnell in game company.
RTA doubles Step 4
Method #1 (the lazy way)
You can copy the files into the mod folder, just navigate back to vehicle/trailer/company and then drag and drop your dds files into the mod (remember to choose "store" in the compression method)
RTA doubles Step 7
Method #2 (separate mod)
Ok so you've created your dds files and saved them as the ingame company version (e.g. t_42print). You then create the mod like you would if you are putting it on the workshop.
1. Create a folder called "my mod"
2. In my mod Create a folder called "vehicle"
3. In vehicle Create a folder called "trailer"
4. In trailer Create a folder called "company"
5. In company add in your .dds paintjob files, if you've done 1 skin you should have 2x dds files (one for the smaller boxes and one for the larger box)
6. Then copy the .tobj files from part one of the mod
Your "my mod" folder should look like this:
RTA doubles Step 5
Then add in your manifest/mod_image/mod description like any other mod and zip it up
RTA doubles Step 6
Once that is done remember to put it a higher priority than the doubles trailer mods.

loulou54,
If you go to the RTA Truck Site https://rta-mods.net/ru/ run your cursor over the "MODDING" heading then "Modding" then click on ETS2 Studio, the correct details for the Renault T are in there. You might have to scroll down to find them but they are there and they do work.
Added after 1 minute 53 seconds:
Or, you could just click the following link to take you to where you need to be :)
https://rta-mods.net/ru/modding/modding-rta/ets-studio
The Renault T information/details are at the bottom of the page.
