Thanks Bomber ... they didn't turn out too bad. All I need to do now is figure out how to get the maxicube to appear IN the game and not just in the trailer browser :eh:

It´s not so difficult to edit the ownable Maxicube. For ATS i could make it directly in the Modfile?!? When you will i could give at a try when you send me the original Design for this. Or look at the" ATS_Maxicube_reefer_RTA-Mods".... open the zip-file look at "vehicle/trailer_eu/maxicube" there are 2 files plann2.dds and plann2.tobj you could kopie or extract the dds file open it with DXTBmp Program and export as 24bit Bitmap file and you could work with that template to painted your orginal Design over and import it back with DXTBmp and put it back in your zip-file, pls make a backup first before you start.

Added after 33 minutes 59 seconds:
I´m not sure which Design i could make with my company but i just try different things to make it good for me. And use your Design as an example.

Bomber, thanks for direction mate - I'll give it a go and see what happens. Nice to see your trying your designs too ... looks good.

wolfinoz, Thank you, appreciate your comments. The hardest part is getting to know the "template" ... after that, it is just a matter of perseverance, trial and error and getting something that looks okay to you

This is my latest edition, a WS 4800 in a more traditional style reflecting WS's 50 Years:

Bomber,

What you suggested worked ... the Main Freight Trailer now appears in the Trailer Dealership. Unfortunately, it copies itself to all other company trailers as well, at least in the trailer browser. So, now to work out how to get the maxi cube trailers to be "stand alone" so they are in the game but not effecting the other skins. Or more to the point, "adding them to the other company trailers in the game".

It looks as though the plann2 files is a "base file" for all maxi cube trailers.
Cheers Mate ...

Yeah, but if you planning to use at ownable would be enough for me because i play the Game for Online Jobs and Online Jobs don´t support the Modtrailers unfortunately. But you could edit a ready mod from @Ozimods are you remember Ozimods got 2 free ownable Maxicube Mods the "Ruby Cube Ownable Maxicube Trailer Mod" and "Blue Neo Ownable Maxicube Trailer Mod". Maybe you could edit one of them. And you have your own mod.

Bomber, your right - I could see if Ian (Ozimods) might allow me to look at his files for reference. Unlike you, and probably most guys, I play "offline completely" so that might be a factor as well. End of the day though, I'm not all that concerned - I'm a little way of having my own company anyway

Thanks for your comment about the WS 4800 - thought I'd go back to the old school style for one skin at least - kind of takes the pressure of having to be creative  .

That being said, here is a new WS4800, a truck that is fast becoming a favorite. This has a little more of a renaissance feel about it, I think, but still more or less in the traditional paint style - sort of :eh:

I like the way you've "raked" the stripes on this one Tony, looks really good.

By the way, you're welcome to grab a copy of the "Ruby Cubes" or "Blue Neo" trailers that I did to see how to set up the paintwork for ownership. I should mention though that the way that I have set them up is slightly different to the way that RTA do it, so the def files, data file names and some folder names will look slightly different, just in case you're comparing them. The way I've done it they will work in both ETS and ATS too.

Have a good weekend matey,

Cheers
Ian

Thanks mate appreciate it a lot. Every now and then I get a burst of creativeness

As soon as I get the issue with the 4800 solved I'll look into the maxicube trailers. Last thing I want (or need) to do is screw anything up though.

Good Luck :class:

And woow the last Skin is sweet like choclate mate. I wish i got this type of ideas. I´m in the middle of tuining up my Trailer.

Image

It´s hard because i don´t have an really idea and i´m not familiar with Studio Programms like ETS/ATS Studio. I use only DXTBmp, Paint and GIMP. It´s hard to hit the lines :insane: , i must start the game on/off to see the results but it´s a little bit better now, i think.

Thanks Bomber and your trailer is taking shape and looking great mate.

I use an "old version" of PSP 7 Pro which can be download and used for free. The ONLY downside to it is it is only the Trial Version so you have to reinstall each month BUT it IS the full PSP7 and is easy and good to work with.

If your interested, I'll find my file and send you the link.

A Royal rebel, I like it! :class:

Regarding Bomberman's comment, I suspect that he thinks you live down here in 'Ass' tralia and was saying that if you didn't live down here he'd shout you a beer, so... I reckon he owes you a beer ay' mate?

Ian,

Yep, reckon he does as well. Maybe I should clarify things so he knows he owes me one ...

Bomber mate, yeah, I'm an Aussie from "Downunder" (sounds a bit better than the "ass of the world" ) BUT live in the US. Soooo - as Ian said, reckon you now owe me a beer mate

Ian ...

Missed what you first said, and yep that's me ............... a "Right Royal Rebel!" Try sayin' that real fast 10 times after a few coldies

Have a Metallic version of it as well with a contrasting "red" for the metallic. It's a pity it doesn't show all that well in the browser as it does look nice I think.

I´m very sorry mate, I did not mean to insult you, it's just a German saying when you live far away, then you say the butt/ass of the world. It´s just a phrase.

Bomber,

No offence taken mate.

Every country has it's own way of saying things, I try to understand that. It can, at times though, cause a little confusion and/or misunderstanding. Anyway, as said, no offence taken and everything is good so far as I am concerned.

Ah ... go for tea? I AM an Aussie you know ... tea is for that mob up (and just to the left) of you guys  I will tell you this though, next time I'm in Germany, I'll hold you to the beer/s

Thank you for your comment re the 4800's too BUT, and you can take this to the bank, I'm no Majesty - just an average guy livin' the dream - whatever the heck that is
Cheers Mate ...
