Thanks Bomberman82, I'm glad you like it.

To change the wardrobe to the Ruby Cubes interior panels in the K200:
On the right of the steering wheel there is a node which selects the Dash Panel options, if you click on that node and select the Dash Panel "Number 10", which is at the top of the list, that will apply the Ruby Cubes interior to the dashboard, wardrobe and the other interior panels.

Cheers
Ian

Hi Everyone,
I just thought I would give you a bit of an update and a 'sneak peak' at the paintwork that I have been working on for the next OziModz Fleetz Pack.

For this project I wanted to push myself a bit further and create something that is a little more than just a "paintwork" by incorporating graphic elements that change the appearance of the truck body to give it a more aggressive "sporty" look. Part of the design brief that I gave myself was to produce the paintwork as both a Matt version and a Gloss version, and, if possible, a Matt version which has certain sections that have a gloss topcoat to provide visual contrast.

So far I have almost finished the design stage and have sorted out a way to make the paintwork available on the truck as both a Matt version and a Gloss version within the same mod (without affecting any other paintjobs in-game). :smoke:

I will post updates here as work progresses, and I expect to be able to release these this month
Cheers
Ian

Here's a preview of the upcoming paintwork design for the "AiRoad Intercity Overnight" Fleet which will include the K200 RSR and incorporating the new "Tech" elements in the trailer designs for the first time.

The "AiRoad" Fleet should be completed ready for release around the end of April/early May, and I will post progress updates here.

Cheers

The K200 with that skin and trailer looks really brutal!!! :class:

But one tipp could you connect the blue stripe on side roof with the other side? It looks a bit bleak.

Thanks for your comment Bomberman82, I'm glad to hear that you like the design.

Regarding your request that the blue stripe from the side of the roof be joined across the roof to the opposite side: The cab roof area is kept free of linework by design, as an essential area of "White Space" that is an important element of this design and which is needed to provide an area for the eye to "rest" in counter-balance to the graphic complexity of the side of the cab. The design treats the truck and trailer as a single unit which is designed to work with both single trailers and double trailers and is based around the dominant "line of motion" which has a trajectory that originates at the front wheel arch and runs diagonally up to the top of the rear of the trailer. The blue line on the side of the cab is, in it's current state, crucial to establishing the intial "thrust" of this design dynamic. If this line was joined across the roof it would cause several design problems, one of which is that it would become optically curved by the shape of the roof which would have the effect of reversing the "line of motion", drawing the eye back towards the front of the truck and forming an undesirable visual "barrier" that would trap the eye between it and the sun visor, effectively breaking the flow from the truck cab through to the trailer/s.

While I do appreciate your critique, I feel that to change that one design element would inevitably and unnecessarily compromise the integrity of the overall design, and so, for the publicly released version at least, I'm sorry to say that I don't think I can accomodate your suggestion on this occassion.

Thanks again for your interest however, and I hope you have a great weekend.
Cheers
Ian

One Question i got.

Your Design is really good, looks modern and sporty i like that. It suit the trucks and trailer very well, but how about a classic vintage Design early 70´s or 80´s something like that :class: . Do you even think about that?

With your skills that would be no problem to make a legendary truck design with trailers together and when you got mod´s with old NPC-Cars that would be good timetravell

Is that the RTA trailers?

It's the TSA Tautliner, I usually use it as the test trailer for a new design like this and then adapt it to the RTA trailer.

TSA.. what a shame they vanished. They were on facebook one day.. gone the next. sigh.

"AiRoad" Kenworth T908

by Geronimo_Express
It's hard to know if anyone is actually interested in these, starting to feel like a bit of a ghost town in here.

Just in case, here's the result of the last three days work, the "AiRoad" Paintwork Design for the Kenworth T908, three different paintjobs carefully customised to suit each of the day cab, day cab sleeper and the Mid/High roof cabs, with carbon fibre cab, sleeper, rear gaurds and air filter snorkel tubes and featuring custom dimensional meshed air ducts for front gaurds, hood and sleeper. At the time of release the "AiRoad" T908 will come with a customised interior as will the K108/K200.

Cheers

Ian,

Superb work mate and yeah, know what you men about it being a bit of a ghost town. That tends to get a little disappointing at times to be honest but don't think it is an indication of the interest in your work ... :class:

Thanks Tony, yeah, I guess people are going away for holidays over the Easter break. Just have to keep working away at it, I think I'll treat myself and do the trusty old K108 next as it should be a pretty straight foward adaptation from the K200.

I just read in your thread about getting your owned trailer paintwork working porperly, and you're welcome to grab a copy of the "Ruby Cubes" or "Blue Neo" trailers that I did to see how to set up the paintwork for ownership. I should mention though that the way that I have set them up is a bit different to the way that RTA do it, so the def files, data file names and some folder names will look slightly different, just in case you're comparing them.

Have a good weekend matey,

Cheers
Ian
