Just a few more Options about different Headlights maybe, or Rearlights.? That´s not only the K200 all the other Trucks could need this a bit. Different Type of Chassis and Cabin´s would be nice.

K200 options

G'day All,

I'm new here (1st post) and only been playing ATS for a few weeks so please be gentle :)

I have a small request re: front bumpers

There are currently driving/fog lights mounted in the bottom of Bumper 2 which come on with the clearance lights (orange bulbs) at the 1st click of the light switch, 2nd click turns on low beam/headlights with a separate switch for high beam. These driving/fog lights are great for dawn/daytime/dusk.

Could you possibly do another version of Bumper 3 (with Bull Bar option) and add these same driving lights so we can have them with and Bull Bar as well?

Also, I'm currently playing the EB 1.35 and I find that I only have Wipers on/off with no other speeds available. I am almost certain that in 1.34 I had intermittent wipers and perhaps a fast speed too.

Almost forgot to mention this ...

Not sure if this is an issue with the truck itself or not, but figure it can't hurt to ask: the WoT custom plates only show on the front.

Meataxe all mod trucks will need work to get the wipers working again after 1.35 goes live. SCS are introducing a new wiper mode, intermittent & on are remaining but now there will also be a "super speedy wipe" like on your car irl. :class:

Main reason for my post was requesting a version of Bumper3 with in-built driving lights — figured I may as well mention the wipers and WoT plates while I was at it — TBH I'm not 100% sure what wiper modes I had in 1.34 (maybe slow/fast/off?), but since playing 1.35 and finding only on/off modes, I've just turned rain probability off until it's sorted. All good mate!

v1.35 wiper modes:
wiper_duration_and_delay[]: (1.9, 2.0) --> Slow, with 2s delay between sweeps)
wiper_duration_and_delay[]: (1.9, 0.0) --> Slow, with 0s delay between sweeps)
wiper_duration_and_delay[]: (1.0, 0.0) --> Fast, with 0s delay between sweeps)

You may have also seen that there are now 2 keys for wipers:
"Wipers": off>mode1>mode2>mode3>off
and the new one "Wipers Back" - which allows, for example to go to "off" from "mode1", without having to tap tap tap and cycle through all modes.
Neat stuff I reckon.

What do you think of DX11?
With DX9 and the K200 parked at my garage, in cab view, with most GFX options maxed out and 300% scaling, I was getting maybe 30->35fps
With DX11, and the same setup and options, I'm getting 75>80fps. Between 100>105fps out on the highway.
Amazing.

G'day mate,

As I said "I've only been playing ATS for a few weeks". I just checked actually and it's more like 2 weeks — installed on 27/3, but I've racked up over 420hrs now :eek: wtf! Don't I ever sleep? lol

TBH I hadn't opened the console in all that time until reading your post, which sent me on a search for commands and how to use it vids on Utube.

I have DX11 working which I think is a little better than 9, but it's hard to say at this point — the game looked so damned good anyway with settings maxed out @ 400% scaling — I'll need to do some comparisons, but it's pretty either way.

Re: v1.35 wiper modes ... where/in what file are you inputting those new commands? They go in one of the .sii files or ??

part 1 of K200 mod is not locked. Navigate to your mod folder where the K200 lives.
Dbl-click on part1 and it will open like an archive (which it is) then navigate to:
def\vehicle\truck\ken200\interior
In that 'interior' folder you'll find "animations.sui". It is a text file. You may find more than one. Do the same for any "animations" sui you find.
Right at the near top of that file is:

Code: Select all

wiper_delay[]: 2

Replace that single line with:

Code: Select all

wiper_duration_and_delay[]: (1.9, 2.0)
wiper_duration_and_delay[]: (1.9, 0.0)
wiper_duration_and_delay[]: (1.0, 0.0)


Save the file. You'll be asked to update the archive. Click Yes, or Ok or whatever it is.

Yeah did, for both 108 and the 200, but haven't checked the 108 cos don't use it much. Bear with me a few minutes, just going to un/reinstall the truck and see what happens.

Wasn't real keen on discussing it on SCS, but I'll follow your lead on that if you think it's ok.

This image shows what I tried to say the first time re. driving/fog lights and bull bar together. The second version (without plates) is for when not hauling 'over size' or 'road train' loads and would actually be my first preference if I had to choose but one. What i'd like to see on both the K108 and the K200 is the chassis of the trucks lowered to an extent that both the stock SCS trailers and the custom trailers from the RTA shop do not sit at an uneven angle like another user mentioned in their recent thread. Right now seeing as RTA does not have a custom rim for their Double Reefer trailer it's also suffering from the same side effect that the stock scs trailers are suffering from. I tried using other wheels like the alcoas from smarty's wheel pack and they look unnaturally small on the K108.

Hello, thanks for the beta, I found that the templates for the mudflaps only work on the flat version, not all Gastanks are available for this version.
Would be nice if everey version each everything would have.
i like the tri axle version, is this also planned?

can you please provide the whole bumper of K108 and K200 with slots for light, looks better if the bumper have all of width of the with led´s
