I wrote that the default SCS trailers to have a different scale and they are below.Almost all models have these problems and not only our models
problems in т908 no
everything is working fine and is not ashamed of us

Have you checked to see if scs has changed modelling programs I asked this because if weird format errors are showing up. it could be due to a modelling change in the game, trying to use the last vestiges of what is a dated graphics model..

creates a real big mess..n especially with mods and the modding community

Added after 7 minutes 39 seconds:
if people are using advanced coupling you may need to switch it off as there will be in bulk a lot of modded trailers that will not function with advanced coupling and creates connection issues with the actual trailer themselves..\\this issue also exists within the stack trailers as well..

Did a little more testing today with all the SCS trucks and all the RTA trucks i own and its the t908, k200 and k108 that have massive fps drops with The Tanker US Polar and the Low Loader Kassbohrer trailers. All the other RTA trucks and SCS are fine :class:

Just thinking around:

I saw in different truck driver blogs and vlogs, that it is possible to lift or lower the whole tail of a truck by inflating/deflating some air buffers.
So you can change the height of the chassis to attach every trailer.
This is needed for example, if the previous driver hadn't lowered the trailers landing gear far enough.

Maybe it's possible to simulate this with two rear "lift axles"? This would be a unique point with RTA models, which then would be fully compatible with any trailer (stock or modded) out there.

I find it funny no one seems to have thought about the little detail that American/Australian trucks aren't BUILT for towing European trailers... Why is everyone complaining about something that technically wouldn't work in real life either?

I suppose thtose are the same people that want to drive CARS in a truck simulator or drive around with 10,000hp engines...

I do it at truck driving school in order to get the king pin into the 5th wheel.

Admin does not mean that deflatable suspension is unrealistic. He means the settings to accomplish this in the current game is unrealstic.

To enable the truck to do what you see in the video you have to make both rear axles liftable in the chassis.sii file. Doing that will cause the truck to not move when both axles are lifted therefore you also have to make the front axle a powered axle in order to move the truck. This means you have a permanent 6x6 chassis which is unrealstic for most of these trucks.

You'll also see that the truck wheels glitch with the map when both axles are lifted.

Hopefully SCS will impliment support for deflatable suspension in the near future. The current way is only a work around but has unrealstic effects.
