Like your work @wombi the Mack is really one of the coolest and manliest truck i´ve ever seen. Like the Duell Truck from the movie. It´s only for hard work not today sissy truck´s with Automatic, Distance Sensors, Park and Trailerassistens with fridge and thousands clubboxes/cabinets in the truck. It´s only man and mashine. When you done with your working shift you know what you done.

Thanks Bomber and yep, the Mack is one tough truck and you really do know that you've done a good days work when you climb out of one.

ATS 1.35 T 908

Just playing with this at the moment. Don't like the hood pin striping below the main stripes so any suggestions would be appreciated...

A couple of things I have noticed with the ATS 1.35 version ...

1. The Wings seem to use 4 separate template parts
2. Only one tank config can be painted

1.35 ATS Peterbilt - Avenger

The first of my Peterbilt 359 skins for ATS 1.35:

This is a beautiful truck - model I mean - but am very disappointed that it has so many small problems and omissions with the template and it. I am particularly disappointed that the extended (double) sleeper was not included with the update.

Aside from that, there some anomalies with the template such as - the wings can only be painted a solid color - pin striping and other central stripes don't seem to work with them. The selection of air filters is out of whack as well. The last 3 or 4 options produce the "small air filter" on ONE SIDE only, leaving the larger one on the other - I'll post some photos of what I mean shortly.

There is no bull bar with this truck - as disappointing as the lack of the double sleeper.

Not sure if this is an error or not but the Hood Logo's all face left and right and not forwards - again, a photo will be posted.

As I said, this is one beautiful truck with a great template but the omissions and small errors let it down a bit sorry to say.

Hi Tony, I'm not sure and I'm far from an expert on these details, but I wondered if, maybe, perhaps the air filter set with the small tank on the RHS in your photo might be an old school type, and possibly the smaller tank on the right is an oil reservoir/ oil-filled cyclonic type air filter/bleed tank/air reserve kind of thingy perhaps? Or maybe it's just a standard air filter that hasn't 'growed up' yet?

I started reading your response and was thinking, oh yeah - that makes sense ... THEN I got to the last sentence and it all turned to laughter :) Maybe the way the filters are shown are correct and not an error BUT, am hoping it is the more logical thought - an air filter going through puberty :)

Might redo the wings and tanks in the darker grey - think it would pull it together better?

Hmm, maybe I should get a 2nd opinion .....

Re did the 108 with the "Striping" continued around the rear of the Sleeper and painted the Tanks and Wings in the darker grey. Biggest issue found is you still cannot paint 2 of the 3 "tanks" a separate color to the main color like you can the one shown in the pictures...

Thanks Ian and sorry for the delayed response, been a bit under the weather this past week. The Peterbilt is such an "old truck" that keeping the skin designs a bit "old fashioned" or "traditional" seems appropriate and kind of suits the design of the truck. Either that or I just got lazy and needed to do something simple :eh:
