AiRoad Paintwork for RTA Tankers
Hi Folks,
I have just completed the AiRoad Paintwork for both of the RTA Tanker Trailers, the "Shell Tanker" and something just a little bit different for the great looking chrome "US Polar Tanker". I am in the final stages of testing of the other components of the pack and making sure there aren't any little gremlins lurking anywhere , so it's getting very close to completion now.
I hope you like the tankers, and I will let you know when the testing is completed ready for release.
Have a great weekend,
Cheers
Ian

AiRoad MACK SL
Hi Everyone,
Today I have finished the design of the "AiRoad Intercity Overnight" paintwork for the mighty MACK SL Daycab, US Sleeper and Australian Sleeper so that the AiRoad Paintwork is now completed for ALL RTA Trucks along with the Maxicube, Vawdrey, "Shell" Tanker and Polar US Tanker RTA Trailers, plus all of the SCS ETS trailers.
Thanks Bomberman82, I'm glad you like them.
(We are on track for release later this week, so I hope you've got some space in your garage for them )
Cheers
Ian
P.S. The MACK Daycab paintwork also includes the orange full rear mud guards the same as those shown on the Australian Sleeper further below.

Hi everyone,
Unfortunately I have not been able to spend as much time on the paintworks and mods over the last month due to some serious "family health problems" which have demanded most of my time, so I am sorry that I am a bit behind on updates and the release of the new AiRoad Fleetz Pack.
However, things seem to have settled down a bit over the last couple of days so I have been able to get back to work on making sure that everything is working correctly on V1.35 and updating paintworks to new templates etc. The AiRoad Fleetz Pack is just about finished and just requires adjustments to a couple of the paintworks to get them 100%, so I am expecting to be able to release the pack by the end of June (this year ).
Hi Bomberman82, I have been using the EF18HT transmission in the K108 and other trucks in ATS v1.35 across Washington over the last couple of days as I have been testing other mods, and haven't had any problems with it. I can't confirm this for the K200 though as we do not yet have an updated version of the K200 for V1.35...perhaps if you are trying to run the 1.34 version of the K200 in ATS V1.35 that may be part of the problem that you are having with crashing?
However, regarding the gear numbering being 1, 2, 3 etc instead of 1L, 1H, 2L, 2H etc. that's no problem, I have made a separate version of the K108 EF18HT transmission for you that names the gears 1, 2, 3,...18 which I have just tested in ATS v1.35 with the DD16 HTR engine in the K108 and it's all working properly, so I will/have sent it to you via PM, I hope that is what you were looking for.
Here's the latest photo, of the AiRoad Intercity Overnight Kenworth K108 with the newly completed matching AiRoad Owned Vawdrey B/Double in beta testing...
Cheers

Hi Ravage05,
For the Vawdrey trailers:
1. You can use the Vawdrey "uv_template" file (which you would have received in your Vawdrey trailer download file) as a guide to create your paintwork in whichever paint program you are using.
2. From that finished paintwork image file (.png format) create the Paintjob .dds file.
3. Create your Mod Folder containing the Folder Structure (see 5, 6 & 8 below) for your Paintwork Mod, along with the "manifest.sii" file, "mod_description.txt" file and the Mod-Manager Icon .jpg file for your paintwork.
4. The "manifest.sii" file and "mod_description.txt" file plus the Mod-Manager Icon .jpg file go in the root level (the 1st level/base folder) of your mod folder that you created in step 3
5. Create your paintwork definition files, which go into: def/vehicle/trailer_owned/rta.vawdrey/paint_job/
6. The Paintwork .dds and its respective .tobj file go into: vehicle/trailer_owned/upgrade/paintjob/rta_box/vawdrey/
7. Create a Paintwork Icon image file and convert it to a .dds file
8. The Paintwork Icon .dds file, along with the related .tobj file and .mat file go into: material/ui/accessory/paintjob_trailer/
9. Select all contents of your Mod Folder and archive them into a .zip file. (If you want, you can change the .zip extension to .scs, the game reads both file types)
10. Put the resultant .zip/.scs file in your "mod" folder, launch the game and activate your paintwork mod in the mod manager as usual.
The following thread contains Paintwork related Tips & Tricks, and if you need any further information you can ask any other paintwork mod related questions you may have there : viewtopic.php?f=87&t=1241
I hope this answers your question,
Cheers

Hi Auzzie Games,
I have started working on a new paintwork pack "Aussie Legends" which will include a range of famous and award winning Australian Trucking companies. I plan to include HHA (Heavy Haulage Australia), Greenfreight, Abletts Transport, GRS Heavy Towing, Cavanaghs/Stockmaster, Lampson Transport, CJ Dean. I am interested to hear suggestions of other companies to be included so I have added yours to the list.
If anyone has any other suggestions for inclusion let me know.
I am currently finishing updating the GTR Logistics Pack including adding the new RTA ownable trailers, and I have almost finished the new AiRoad Fleet Pack which I expect to be releasing within the next week, so I hope to be able to focus on the Aussie Legends Pack soon. At this point I have completed the Cavanaghs and Stockmasters paintwork for the K200 (screenshot of Cavanaghs below).
Cheers

I am happy to report that I have finally completed all of the updates of OziModz paintworks and mods, including the Ruby Cubes & Blue Neo Vawdrey Ownable trailers and the GTR Logistics Fleetz Pack which now also includes GTR Paintwork for the new Maxicube Trailers and the Owned Vawdrey Trailers, and I have also included new GTR paintwork for the new B/Double and Chipvan trailers that were released in ATS 1.35. I have updated the GTR Logistics T609 to take advantage of the new UV Template with the painted front bumper & tanks and to make three colour variants available for the rear guards for a bit of extra variety.
So now I can focus on the completion of the last few details for the forthcoming "AiRoad" Fleet Pack. I wasn't entirely happy with the AiRoad paintwork for the Kenworth T908, so I have gone back and redesigned it and am much happier with it now, so will be updating the design for T908 A and B cabs in the same way and will then post some screenshots here.
I hope everyone is having a great weekend
Cheers
Ian

A photo of the revised AiRoad paintwork design for the mighty Kenworth T908, which now has a cutaway section with inset carbon fibre panel extending on to the sides of the bonnet/hood. I think this suits it better than version 1 with the solid orange hood.
I'm thinking that I might include two versions for the T908, one with the grey bumper, tanks and guards as shown above plus a version with orange bumper and rear guards...

The updated AiRoad paintwork design for the T908 A, B and C Cabs to match the new D Cab version shown above, still got a bit more work to do to complete the variants with orange bumper and rear guards with grey tanks ( I am determined to get orange stripes onto the outer edges of the grey rear guards to match the outer edge of the front guards ) which requires a little bit more tweakalization...

The AiRoad T908 now has the rear guard variations that I had my sights set on, each of the four T908 cabs will be available with the following combinations of front bumper, tanks and rear guards within the one paintwork. I have also refined the AiRoad design for the Vawdrey trailers so that everything lines up more exactly and finalised the incorporation of the logotype and catch-cry.
So I think it's safe to say that I am happy with these now. . . ...
The final AiRoad T908 and Vawdrey Trailers:
The various configurations that will be available for all of the AiRoad T908 cabs:
