In a real KW that gauge is a turbo exhaust temp gauge. As far as I know the game doesn’t output any exhaust temp values, so not sure they could make it work properly.Shildy88 wrote:Hello RTA Team,
is it really impossible to fix the gauges beetween the speedometer & the tachometer?
On the Kenworth K108 & Kenworth K200 it works without any problems.
(I thought I was the only one with these problems)
See the difference:
Kenworth K200
Kenworth T609:
It seems like that the T908 has the same problem.
Also if it is a little thing, it would be great if this could be fixed somehow.

It seems SCS does have a turbo temp ID and animation for at least ATS.
Copied from MAck Anthem DLC truck:
Can this value and ID be include in K200, K108, and T908 pls?
Speaking of T908, the analog clock display (even in v7) is labelled "spring pressure"
Can we fix that pls? It's been annoying me for years :)

Code: Select all
exhaust_temp_anim: "/vehicle/truck/mack_anthem/interior/animation/exhaust_temp_anim.pma"
exhaust_temp_anim_min: 0
exhaust_temp_anim_max: 870 # 870*C = 1600*F

room217au, Hello
We configured this turbo exhaust temp
I was not sure if the gauge settings were correct and in 1.39 we did not add animation to clarify all the information on this gauge
I made a setting on this video

T908 analog clock:
Added after 25 minutes:
Turbo temp gauge would make the dashboard more real in all your trucks.
Added after 1 minute 11 seconds:
750C is too high for an engine that just started. If that's any help.
SYPHON drives a K200 for a job. He'll know more.

Okay.
Further investigation into K200 shows that Turbo Temp gauge is actually reading airtank pressure.
I can tap brake button repeatedly and the turbo 'temp' reduces. It gradually increases when engine is idling and rapidly increases when revving engine in neutral.
I have v15.4 of K200.
Why is mine different?
