You maybe be interested to know that the original Western Star 4800 had an RTA paintjob that came with the truck that was a big silver star on the sides of the cab. If you created graphics for that truck, the shape of that star would mask everything but the graphics -under- that star shape.
That's because the star shape was in the Alpha channel.

Next time you're fooling around with K200 paintjobs, place an image on the cab's side near the back so that it overlaps the cab and the aero wing.
You can see they're separated in the template.

Not really. Just that anything other than straight lines and solid colours gets 'messed up' between the edge of the cabin proper, and the aero wing.

Is there way to paint in the inside of the wings for adding stripes etc? If so, where are they on the K200 and K108 templates please?

Ahh gotcha ... next 200 then

The aero wings, on both those templates are one-sided. Any image painted on them will appear both sides.
To have them paintable both sides individually, the template must be modified to include those two extra surfaces.

Hmm, any skins I have done that cover the "outside" of the Wings doesn't appear on the inside. This applies to both the 200 and the 108 ??

Okay. Maybe they don't. I know Viper's 389 aero wings do this.
The K200 template is.. bugged. The mudguards, when painted, actually show up as colour on the snorkels. Weird. It's been this way since day #1.

So, I have just bought the Vawdrey Double Trailers and the Skeletal Trailers as well - so, how on earth do you get those trailers into ETS2 Studio?

Just want to thank room217au and Geronimo Express for their advice and help with skinning the Vawdrey Trailers. I have to admit that when I saw all the files and how they appeared, I was dumb founded. room217au led the way and Geronimo Express put it all in terms even I could understand together with custom folders and files for me to change.

Anyway, at the end of the day, this was the result of my first attempt:

Am posting this in the hope that it is "better" than my previous screen shots, in terms of quality. Geronimo Express sent me a "HDR Fix" for pictures that I think has worked very well ... you guys be the judge though:

Have gotten a "correct" trailer skin completed. You might not like the actual skin BUT, this was just to make sure I knew what was what ...





Now to figure out how to change the frame color to black and/or grey.
