Ian I decided to try option 2 first as I have been driving other non RTA trucks in both ATS & ETS2 without issue. I purchased another K200 and have so far driven over a thousand miles without issue, so it would appear (so far anyway) that the update was the cause.
Thanks again
Mike

Hi everyone, first post here. :hi:

Enjoying the new 1.37 K200 (haven't tried the K108 yet), thanks very much for the update.

My only criticism is the air pressure gauges. Is there a way to 'de-couple' the air and suspension pressure gauges from the exhaust temp (pyrometer) gauge. I have got the pyrometer to read correctly (using the animation info from the SCS Mack Anthem, see below) ...;

#air_pressure_anim: "/vehicle/truck/k200/interior/psi.pma"
#air_pressure_anim_min: 0
#air_pressure_anim_max: 12

exhaust_temp_anim: "/vehicle/truck/k200/interior/psi.pma"
exhaust_temp_anim_min: 0
exhaust_temp_anim_max: 870 # 870*C = 1600*F

... however now the suspension and air pressure gauges read the same.

In a future update, could you separate the suspension and air pressure gauges like in the SCS W900?

air_pressure_anim: "/vehicle/truck/kenworth_w900/interior/d_air_psi.pma"
air_pressure_anim_min: 0
air_pressure_anim_max: 10.34 # 10.34bar = 150psi

suspension_load_anim: "/vehicle/truck/kenworth_w900/interior/d_sus_l.pma"
suspension_load_anim_min: 0
suspension_load_anim_max: 150000

Once again, many thanks from this happy Aussie. Patiently waiting for the Mack S-L, T908, T609 and Western Star updates.

I've just edited the exhaust temp max to suit the gauge;

exhaust_temp_anim_max: 900 # 900*C = 1652*F

Seems to be working fine and doing what it's supposed to do (rise when under load and drop when coasting and at idle)

I would presume these same settings could be used in the K108, T908 etc. as they use the same defs and gauge.

Added after 3 minutes 50 seconds:
BTW, how do I edit a post? I should've added I have a few 2019-20 spec X15's I use in my K200 (including multi-torque ADEPT X15's) if you are interested.

Added after 1 minute 16 seconds:
Ok, never mind about the edit. Seems you have an auto edit feature.

Currently what I've got in the K200

X15e5 550 ADEPT - 1650-1850lb-ft
X15e5 580 ADEPT - 1650-1850lb-ft
X15e5 600 ADEPT - 1650-2050lb-ft
X15e5 600 - 2050lb-ft (2779Nm)
X15e5 600 'tuned' (computer re-map) 620hp - 2250lb-ft (3050Nm)

As I said, I'm willing to share to the RTA team these engines to go straight into the K200 (and other RTA mods of course) without the need for a workshop 'add-on' pack.

Crocko
You'd be better off talking with Robinicus. He's does engines and sounds for RTA.

I might do that, because irl the K200 was/is built as a Cummins + Eaton package only. When they were first released in late 2010 they used the ISX EGR, then around late 2012 they used the ISXe5 SCR and then in 2016-17 they got the X15e5 SCR, which is still used today. They were never built with Cats, Detroits or PACCAR's (MX11/13). It's the same with the T610 - Cummins only.

He's pretty right with the K108 however, as they were fitted with Cummins, Cats and Detroits, no PACCAR's though.

My T610 only has Cummins :)
I'm not sure if Robinicus actually records any new sounds? It may just be the existing sounds but updated into FMOD.
I use Kriechbaum's megapack v3.1

I think the 'base' sounds are Kriechbaum's, but he puts his own 'spin' on them, like the fan cutting in and out in his latest sounds. I've noticed that Robinicus' ISX/X15 sounds are different to Kriechbaum's (which he hasn't updated yet), they seem to have a hint of a V8 growl to them.

To me, the best DD and Cat sounds are those of Zeemod (CheckEngine), but don't get me wrong, all three of them make excellent sound mods, Robinicus' MP8/10 is a prime example.

Yep, that's Kriechbaum's "basse.wav" file. Just a low Hz tone. But under the loaded sounds, it's mean.

Can not able connect trailer

Unread post #254by tomek99 » 17.05.2020, 15:14

I hope that is not only my problem, but I am not able connect any trailers. All trailers are lower than the truck (ATS_KW_K200_RTA-Mods_v15.3).

That's correct yes. K200 has never had an indication that the lights are on, only when high beam is on.

IIRC the 'trailers too low' issue was caused by having 'Advanced Trailer Coupling' turned on in your Options/Gameplay/Truck Settings - turning it off removed the issue for myself and some others long ago.

This is because "animations" file is calculated for kmh and that calc is somewhat incorrect:

Code: Select all

   speedometer_anim: "/vehicle/truck/k200/interior/speed.pma"
   speedometer_anim_max: 120

That "120" value should be reduced to maybe 115 or so.
Unfortunately, without the right software you can't open part2 of K200 to change this value yourself.
RTA will have to do it.

and while they're doing that, they can also fix the turbo pressure gauge (the small one in the centre of your picture).
It is reading "air pressure" (ie. brakes) currently.

Hello!
Not sure why but in ETS 2 the front signal lights on my K200 don't work (side ones do). Is there a way to fix it?
Thanks!
