trailers are done, once they've been updated by RTA I can get them added to the workshop.

T908 is getting there, took me awhile to get the angles right, not 100% perfect yet but it will be soon:

Getting there mate, going to look quite nice when it's finished. Then I can run matching 108/908 sets, sweet. :) Waiting for the doubles update also, got a few painted up I would like to share. Been trying to work on my Nolans FH but same as you bud, work keeps getting in the way. Looking forward to release and screenshot time, thanks for the skins dude. Greatly appreciated.

Uploaded the trailer skins to the Workshop for those still using v1.31 (assume they still work there). Should replace Wallbert in ATS, I'll try and get ETS2 updated soon as possible. I'm afraid I can't check as I'm far too far into v1.32 now!

T908 is on it's way just got to get all the detail lines in.

If you have Illustrator, you can always do lines, vectors n such there, and copy'n'paste directly into Photoshop layer as Smart Objects.
Works for me :)

What I do with illustrator is make a rectangle the same sizee as the artboard (4096x4096) but it has no line or fill. It's transparent.
When I copy a layer in Illustrator, I iunclude that 'invisible' rectangle, so that when I paste into Photoshop, the object is placed in exactly the same position as it was in Ilustrator. Assuming the Photoshop canvas is the same as Illustrator artboard of course.
I also set res in Illustrator to 300dpi. I know that when voncerting to dds later, the res doesn't matter, but it does make a difference when pasting to Photoshop from Illustrator.

I need Help whenever I try to add the kenworth T908 scs file it doesn't work and it says No trucks could be found in the mod folder any help

Hey is there anyone that is also an RTA member who would possibly be able to do some skinning for me for ATS RTA trucks?

American companies, Werner Enterprises, TMC, Western Express, Navajo etc etc and maybe I can purchase the next mod for person?

Would be worth it for me b/c the last time I got into Adobe and tried skinning my skin looked like shit. LOL

Anyone interested hit me up in PM.

Gotta be approved to purchase RTA mods though, not banned I mean.

@pooch.379 have you tried another paint program? Photoshop used to drive me mental for the first few months until I got into the flow of it.

@PvtStash hey mate can you let me know what's on the sleeper tool box door of your T904? Can't find a good enough picture to replicate it!

edit: hmm actually is it a telephone logo then "Sydney" with the phone number underneath?

Yup, the 904 is hard to catch out where I am mate. I only see it maybe once a week, might see it tomorrow though if it's wet as Sydney will be looking for places to send it. There's a couple of other trucks with the same logo, I will try to get a shot of one for you. By memory the logo is Sydney and 13 14 58 as the number, some trucks have 9450 1444.

@Pooch, try starting with something like paint.net. Might be a bit easier to get used to and then move to photoshop once you get a few skins done. It's worth persisting as it is much more satisfying driving something you painted yourself. Quite happy to help where I can.

There are three .scs files for T908:
American Truck Simulator:
ATS_RTA-Mods_KW-T908_v6.4_part1.scs
ATS_RTA-Mods_KW-T908_v6.4_part2.scs
ATS_RTA-Mods_KW-T908_v6.4_part3.scs
Euro Truck Simulator 2:
ETS_RTA-Mods_KW-T908_v6.4_part1.scs

ETS_RTA-Mods_KW-T908_v6.4_part3.scs

All of these are extracted from the 7z file you get from Oleg.
All three must exist in the relevant mod folder for truck to work correctly.

Added after 3 minutes 11 seconds:
I'm pretty sure you need to extract part 1 and part 2 then, and create a single .scs file if you want to skin the truck with ETS2 Studio.
Def files for cahssis and cabin are in part 1 and models are in part 2.

@PvtStash ok finally I've got it finished, can you check it out and if you're happy I'll complete the right hand side and get it all uploaded for you :) I've had to use some artistic license on this one compared to the T904 picture I was using as a reference but it will be as close as possible. I'll also open it up to for everyone to use once it's fully ready!

Painting the T908 v6.4 using the template that ships with the truck.
This is the dds in photoshop. I included the template visibility to indicate where I have painted and where I haven't.

Hello Room, the template has always been like that when I’ve been doing skins for this truck. Happens abit with the MACK SL too iirc but I haven’t skinned that in while.

Have you put the gridskin over it to see if numbers are duplicated? Seem to remember the rear fenders were duplicated somewhere else.

Thanks for the reply.
I've asked RTA about the 908 template before and was told there's nothing wrong with it. I beg to differ.
I can overcome the paint issue by using chrome parts .. buuut.. you know... I'd rather fix it.
Funny thing is, the space in the template occupied by the mudguards is actually where the snorkel parts are.
Something is screwy with that template image.
