Wombat457 Skins
As I seem to be doing at least one skin per day I thought it better to have them all in the one place, so this is it, the wombat457 skin thread.
My recent K200:
Next move is to work out how to run the top side stripes around the front of the Sleepers ???

Thanks room217au, I'll have to play with it to get the curvature right ... give me something to do though :)
Is there anyway to edit a post do you know? Have "dressed" the truck up and wanted to replace the above pics with the modified ones instead of having to re post below:
Oh and any suggestions or recommendation to improve what I do are very welcome

Ahh the joys of retirement ... have plenty of time to do the things I want to do - but know what you mean mate.
Around here the winter keeps this little black duck inside in the heat. Come spring and summer though, I might get in here a couple of times a week so this time of the year is spent going from painting trucks to my model train layout to anything else that can be done in the great "Indoors"

I think I have it completed unless someone see's something wrong or missing. Accessories are the closest I could get with what was available for the truck:
The back is hot and miss as I had no pictures of it.

One thing I omitted to mention ... need to thank Geronimo (OziMods) for fixing the template and making it much more usable for me. Without his help and work, this paint couldn't have been achieved. So thanks mate, much appreciated

It might look pretty plain but there was a LOT of fiddly work involved with it

One problem I noticed, as you guys probably have as well, is some of the "stripping" appears on the Air Filter Stack for some reason? I have no idea why that happened as the stripping is ONLY on the Cab, Sleeper and Sleeper Wings. Apparently the "color" for the Air Stacks is taken from what ever is on the Sleeper from the looks. Where ever it came from, it is weird!

One other thing ... you have also probably ascertained that I am NOT all that creative when it comes to designing the skin ... I kinda get stuck on a theme and have a hard time moving away from it.
Anyway, If anyone wants or needs a skin done, be it of a real truck or one of your design I'd be more than happy to give it a go for you. Definitely NOT suggesting I am any good at this, but would give me a challenge and the chance to do something different
